More interesting links from the past week.
To start with something non-technical, there have been a number of blogs (and a deluge of comments) on Tom Kyte’s blog about classic book recommendations. I’m sure Tom would welcome a couple of dozen more recommendations (Joke!). That blog of his will end up being as time-consuming as asktom if he’s not careful!
Eddie Awad highlighted an Oracle-related use of Google Trends
Christo Kutrovsky discussed I/O and ASM and is looking for any other comments on the subject. Christo mentioned this to me at the Hotsos Symposium but I haven’t had time to look into it properly yet.
Simon Kelsey started blogging and presenting at User Group meetings.
Neil Jarvis, a familiar name from the UKOUG, started a blog recently, too.
Last (but definitely not least, from my point of view) on the Oracle front, Glen Fawcett’s blog looks like it covers exactly the type of subjects I’m most interested in. Nice one!
On a completely different subject, I hadn’t heard of Cecilia Zhang until I read Peter K’s blog. What a tragic tale that puts all of those technical matters into perspective.
