{"id":1138,"date":"2006-11-21T12:00:00","date_gmt":"2006-11-21T12:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/orcldoug.com\/blog\/?p=1138"},"modified":"2006-11-21T12:00:00","modified_gmt":"2006-11-21T12:00:00","slug":"our-new-additions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/orcldoug.com\/blog\/2006\/11\/21\/our-new-additions\/","title":{"rendered":"Our New Additions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A special gift deserves a special blog<\/p>\n<p>Here is the present Alex Gorbachev gave me at UKOUG<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" height=\"480\" hspace=\"5\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/18.133.199.212\/wp-content\/uploads\/recovered\/100_1034.jpg?resize=640%2C480\" width=\"640\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Normally it takes a while to name new arrivals while we suss out their personality and see what name suits but, in this case, we decided he should be named Alex, to remind us of how he came to us. But that&#8217;s not all.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" height=\"480\" hspace=\"5\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/18.133.199.212\/wp-content\/uploads\/recovered\/100_1036.jpg?resize=640%2C480\" width=\"640\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This guy looked to us like a Peter, then we realised he&#8217;s probably a French Canadian bear called Pierre. He didn&#8217;t say much at first you see, apart from the odd word of French. Turns out his English is pretty good too and he claims to know more about computers than The Dog! (That hasn&#8217;t gone down well at all and we&#8217;ll need to keep an eye on them, but he seems like a very nice bear. The best bit is, he seems to have a moose up his bum<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" height=\"480\" hspace=\"5\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/18.133.199.212\/wp-content\/uploads\/recovered\/100_1037.jpg?resize=640%2C480\" width=\"640\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Yes, it&#8217;s two housemates in one! What a marvelous addition.
