{"id":1544,"date":"2009-11-22T12:00:00","date_gmt":"2009-11-22T12:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/orcldoug.com\/blog\/?p=1544"},"modified":"2009-11-22T12:00:00","modified_gmt":"2009-11-22T12:00:00","slug":"advert-busy-busy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/orcldoug.com\/blog\/2009\/11\/22\/advert-busy-busy\/","title":{"rendered":"Advert: Busy, Busy &#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A quick post from a hotel room in Bratislava (and very nice both are, too, although it&#8217;s difficult to judge a city in the dark) &#8230;. <\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow I&#8217;m teaching the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oracle.com\/global\/sk\/education\/eblast\/sk_doug_burns_seminar_200809_reminder_ol.html\">2-day performance course for Oracle University<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Next week I&#8217;m giving two presentations at the annual UKOUG conference in Birmingham (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pythian.com\/news\/4191\/ukoug-conference-tech-ebs-2009-the-place-to-be\/\">Alex<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.liberidu.com\/blog\/?p=1331\">Marco<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/tkyte.blogspot.com\/2009\/09\/advert-of-sorts-canada-egypt-ukoug.html\">Tom<\/a> do that one justice). Material due &#8230; erm &#8230; soon.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been accepted to give a presentation at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hotsos.com\/sym10\/sym_speakers.html\">Hotsos Symposium<\/a> in March (material due in February) <\/p>\n<p>&#8230; and probably another at Miracle Oracle Openworld in April.<\/p>\n<p>So, yes, on top of my day job, these are busy times.
