As well as being easy 😉 it almost ensures that the authors have good taste :-> Paul Vallee had mentioned to me that he hoped to start a Pythian group blog, based on postings by the many clever people who work at Pythian. I have a feeling this one is going to be particularly useful technically and readable.

Next up is one that I can’t believe I missed. It’s been said (accurately) that a blog is just a diary, really. When I was fed-up earlier in the week, I was looking through some old blogs from the Hotsos Symposium period and it brought back some happy memories. One of the comments was from Scott Schwab, but I didn’t notice that he has a blog, too. This one looks most interesting if you’re interested in development issues.

At this point I’d like to implore Anjo Kolk to start posting again. Normally I wouldn’t link to a blog that’s never updated, but I live in hope 😉

Oh, and welcome back, Mogens (okay it was only a month or two). You were missed. Oracle on Windows versus Linux? An old but still interesting debate. There are other blogs on this subject here and here.

Finally, I noticed that Andy Campbell seems to have had more success with Fedora Core 5 than he’s supposed to. Interesting. I thought there might have been some comments on that blog by now, but maybe nobody’s noticed it?

The good thing about a blog like this is it requires very little post-viral effort (actually, I’m not so sure about the ‘post’ bit – I’m still having mid-day naps and waking up feeling weak). This weekend I have a few more substantial efforts I hope to manage.
