This is Derek Junior.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/images\/derek.jpg\" onblur=\"try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/images\/derek.jpg\" style=\"margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer\"\/><\/a><br \/>An invisible turtle called Derek lived in the bath in our last home. Invisible turtles and house moves are a bad combination and he was left behind. We have no idea what happened to him because we expect the new occupants weren&#8217;t too happy about having a turtle in their bath and we certainly didn&#8217;t feel it appropriate to knock on the door and ask if we could have Derek back. Worse still, Derek Junior is now effectively an orphan. I think you&#8217;ll agree it&#8217;s written all over his face.<\/p>\n<p>We take very good care of him and are optimistic that he&#8217;ll become a fully rounded turtle, given time.<\/p>\n<p>(You know my favourite bit?
