I wanted to highlight a couple of blogs that I’ve added to the links on the right of the page.<\/p>\n

Yas’ blog was already familiar to me because of a couple of posts I particularly enjoyed, including his SQL*Net Message from Client <\/a>idle event blog. I just hadn’t got round to adding the link.<\/p>\n

I knew nothing about Eric S. Emrick’s blog<\/a> until he dropped me a line earlier in the week. With the Hotsos work, it took me a while to take a look, but his material looks much more in depth than anything you’ll find here and I think it’s a very worthwhile addition to the Oracle Blogosphere.<\/p>\n

Speaking of which, I think that Oracle’s decision not to include Pete Finnigan’s blog<\/a> at blogs.oracle.com<\/a> is a little short-sighted and they could find themselves half-way down a particularly slippery slope before they know it. I’m not sure I’d be that concerned if my blog didn’t appear there, though. It’s not like I’m in business to make money from the blog or anything – if people find it and enjoy it then great, if they don’t, it’s hardly the end of the world. I’m sure Pete’s blog<\/a> will continue to be a popular destination, regardless.<\/p>\n

Then again, it could be considered short-sighted for Pete to omit me from his new aggregator<\/a> 😉<\/p>\n
