Sorry, but I have to blog about this. When I got home last night, my other half wouldn’t shut up about Telewest cable tv’s new Teleport TV that appeared out of the blue yesterday. It’s like a low-functionality Tivo. i.e. We don’t have our own hard disk recorder, but Telewest run repeats, movies and the like to view on demand. Given how long this technology had been kicking around it’s taken a while to filter through. It struck me that she’s easily as excited about this as I ever get about Oracle ….
