Well, it’s officially my birthday now. I’ve had more birthday wishes than I’m used to, then I came across this. (I’m mentioned some way in to an interesting blog)

I tend to have a terrible memory for course students (I met a lot in quick succession) but I remember Stephen and I’m chuffed that he enjoyed the course. What a nice birthday present that is and quite timely after my recent blog in praise of trainers.
Cheers, Stephen!
Happy Birthday!
I honestly meant what I said about you being one of the best trainers I’ve had. I really finished each day feeling like I’d learned something, plus I actually felt motivated and interested in the subject matter.
I think what I liked most was how it seemed like for virtually every concept you had a real life example of where it was important.
It was good to see you at the UKOUG2005 as well.
Doug,
Seems like we share a birthday!
Happy birthday and Happy New Year to you!
Isn’t it nice that the entire planet celebrates for us? 🙂

Scott,
“Seems like we share a birthday!”
Well in that case I’ll reciprocate the sentiment. Have a good one.
“Isn’t it nice that the entire planet celebrates for us? :)”
Kind of, but everyone saves themselves for the big night 😉 It’s also pretty dull when you’re a kid and only have one week’s worth of presents to last a year!
Cheers,
Doug
Happy Birthday Doug!
How much did you pay Stephen? 🙂
Belated Happy birthday sir.I wish you a great and so much 2006.Happy new year to you.

Hippo Birdie, two ewes.
Even tough I hadn’t the foggiest, I still raised a glass on that night anyways! Ah well, now I have one more excu^H^H^H^Hreason to celebrate that event…
Well, belated birthday tidings to you! While I don’t share your birthday (mine’s a well-guarded secret) I am a child of the 60’s as well (albeit a little older than you *wink wink nudge nudge say no more*). I found achieving 40 was rather anti-climactic. I expect 50 to be the same – after all, it’s just a number. I prefer to just feel about 20 years younger than I actually am, even if I look 5 years older. 😄
