There seems to be alot of money in free hosting of blogs. I can image a company like Oracle getting off on having the largest blogging community in the world. It’s good press, until it goes bang 🙂

Actually, the error message from ‘Join now’ is generated by Frontier which is part of one of a content management system (www.userland.com). I think that company was founded by Dave Winer who in turn, ofcourse, is named as the very first weblogger.
Anyway,maybe Oracle is running it for their employees or maybe Oracle wants to host your blog. Who knows 🙂
