Off to London

Once I’ve got tonight’s on-call out of the way, I’m flying down to London in the morning for a weekend away with one of my mates, my other half and her sister. I’ve hummed and hawed about it but think I’ve decided to leave my laptop at home, which’ll mean no blogging or email for a few days

I’m *so* looking forward to that 6:40am flight on Monday morning.

Of course, there are four good World Cup matches coming up, so that’ll make up for it but I suppose I’ll be nagged into missing one or two of them as well. Why am I going to London? Well, I quite like it in short bursts but the truth is that I am, after significant protest, going to see synth pop pioneers ……. I can’t bear to say their name actually and I’d really rather not go, but my other half and her sister are die-hard fans and sometimes it’s worth making small sacrifices for long term gain 😉

I have plenty to blog about, but perhaps I should give computers a break for a couple of days.
