Ooerr! And I’m not talking 1555. That’s a bad typo and entirely my fault. I will see what I can do to get it rectificated.
The ‘hates heights’ plus ‘pilot’s license’… self-explanatory, really. I hate heights and am absolutely terrified of flying. Getting a license was about the only way to tackle both problems (it seemed like a good idea at the time, anyway). I still hate heights, but I can usually cope with a white-knuckle job on a Jumbo these days, so it must have worked.
Anyway: thank you for all your kind words. I’m certain I don’t deserve half of them, but it’s nice to hear anyway.
