Here’s an early version of the speaker list for next year’s Hotsos Symposium.
Given the fact that I’m going to have an unusually busy January, I’d better start work 😉

We Have Met the Enemy and it is Us: Optimizing People and Processes to Optimize Performance
Great title !
beat me to it Andy. It’s a fantastic title.
I’d love to attend Hotsos this year, but have trouble convincing my managers to pay the bill. Is there a page for managers on why they should send their employees to Hotsos?
Does the Hotsos Syposium link above not contain suitable information?
I don’t think you’ll find anything more specific than that.
I just have one comment on this :
😄
well, now i underestand why they rejected me.😉
They didn’t *reject* you, Bill, they just didn’t want to interfere with the social element for you 😉
you meanif the district sends me.😉 seems they keep forgetting to sign me up for it.
besides, i’m better off since i’m having major writer’s block doing the RMOUG paper.😉
What, no Tom Kyte???
Apparently not. I think he’s trying to cut down on his travel a bit for a while. I’m sure he was invited 😉
Nice agenda. No surprise I didn’t make it. Probably won’t make it for another years. 🙂
Oh, I don’t know about that 😉
I heard from someone whilst at UKOUG that there were many submissions for Hotsos this year (I hope I encouraged some of them!) so some were bound to be disappointed. I feel very privileged to have a chance to speak there.
Oh yeah… I heard that on few free slots left there were several submissions for each so I didn’t have any illusions knowing the caliber of the speakers 🙂. I was too busy anyway with the move cross Atlantic so submission came in the last day in a hurry.
