Well, I wish that were true, but at least a short term seasonal truce has broken out in the Burns household. Past disagreements have been put aside and there’ll be no mention of the Cuddly Toy Front from The Boys and Polly and no whinging and moaning from my side. Well, I can’t really guarantee the latter because I have the special joy of cooking for ten people tomorrow. I don’t know whether you’ve done that, but all of a sudden it feels like catering, rather than cooking.
All the preparation means we’re a little late in wishing everyone a Merry Christmas (if you celebrate it) and a happy and healthy 2007.
