I remembered that about the same time as Tom linked to my blog, I swapped Bill in as my new avatar! I knew he was pretty scary but he’s not that bad …

Actually, YES! When I was 16, a rather fullsome woman fell down a flight of stairs (I happened to be coming up said stairs at the time) and like an immortal idiot I caught her on the upper part of my back to keep her from hitting bottom. Bad mistake, still paying for it lo these many many years later. 😄
Sometimes, Doug, you really scare me. More than Bill (and truth be told on occasion my kids have called me a horrible green old bloke – well, they used a different word than bloke – think it was “guy”).
