I’ve caught a horrible cold or flu and, despite the fact all I can do is lie down and mess around on my laptop, it’s difficult to rustle up a strong opinion or feeling on anything. Bizarrely, I have been able to play around with the newer example schemas (i.e. SH, HR etc.) in my local database which I’ve never spent enough time investigating.
I hope this is over soon though.
Then again, Ashes cricket series is just about keeping me going, but I need to synchronise my naps with the boring bits better.
‘Bizarrely’ because I can barely switch TV channels, but those schemas got me interested enough to take my mind off how I feel. For a little while, anyway 😉
Rest and plenty of fluids – and there’s no point watching cricket now! and as for laying down with sample schemas; the virus must have gor your brain 🙂
Cheers Pete. There isn’t even any cricket today 🙁
match sleep to the boring bits. 2 weeks rest coming up followed by 4-5 days with no sleep then.
Niall,
I’m due to attend my future sister-in-laws 40th birthday party in Chippenham that weekend. Apparently it’s ‘very important’ to my partner.
I think we may need to discuss a clearer definition of ‘very important’ within the next 10 days 😉
(Fingers crossed – maybe her husband likes cricket?)
Cheers,
Doug
P.S. Of course, the joke is that I’m probably the only man in Scotland who cares! Actually, I don’t think so. Not any more …)
